We believe that wild animals should be in the wild. Some zoos are doing great work with educating grown-ups and children and with conserving endangered animals. But most zoos in the world see wild animals as products to attract people. We don’t understand that circuses exploit wild animals. They have to live in pitiful conditions and often don’t get nutritious or enough food, with no place to roam around and no proper medical care. Neither we understand that ordinary and rich people keep wild animals at their homes as pets. Some are dearly loved but most are just treated poorly. Again: the wrong food, not enough food, no place to roam and no sufficient medical care.
Our mission: We rescue wild animals, one by one.
People that are involved with the Wildlife Advocates Foundation are dedicated to reverse this situation. Not by changing policies or by large media campaigns but with rescuing wild animals. Also by letting people know what their situation is, so people can see for themselves which horrors these animals have to endure. We seek change and we can’t wait for the moment that all captive wild animals are released into areas where they have enough and proper food, enough space to roam and the best medical care possible. That’s the change we are looking for as an ultimate goal. And in the meantime we rescue wild animals, one by one.
With your help we can rescue more wildlife from horrible conditions and give them a new future, in a place where they are cared for and where they can live a life the closest to a life in the wild as possible.
